DC Wonder is a 16-bit, 2 player fighting game made to promote the pop band of the same name, and features several of its members.
This game was designed with an art-style similar to that of the game Scott Pilgrim vs the World, at the request of the band members.
The game controls somewhat like Super Smash Bros. in that every character has a small number of moves that can be strung together, rather than using button combinations to pull off better moves like Mortal Kombat.
I developed all visual game assets including the character sprites, backgrounds, user interface, special effects, and menus.
All background music was composed by Frank Watkoskey of the DC Wonder band, and the voice acting was performed by the living counterparts of each character (with the exception of the boss characters).
DC Wonder is currently available for purchase on Steam and Itch.io.
