Arson Alchemist is a 2D platforming game with combat mechanics, 3 interchangeable main characters, and a partner system similar to that of Kirby Superstar with an enormous variety.

This game is intended to be a classic fast paced side-scroller with an educational sub-text, based around the periodic table of the elements.

The player characters' abilities are based on the physical and chemical properties of the element they're named after, and so too are the enemies.

The player can collect raw samples from enemies they have defeated, and use them to make friendly versions that will follow the player into battle and help them fight. In addition, the player can fuse these elements to create compounds and bring a stronger ally into battle.
